GroupMap (chdocsearch.com) is operated by AGPB Ltd, the data controller for the personal data described here.

Register data we display

GroupMap displays information from the public Companies House register, exactly as the register publishes it: company details and, for individuals, name and month/year of birth only. We never display full dates of birth or residential addresses.

Personal data we collect from you

Export unlock: the email address you choose to provide to unlock exports. We use it to understand who finds this tool useful and to contact you about it.

Monitoring subscriptions: if you ask to watch a company, we store your email address, the companies you watch, and a record of the alert emails we send you. We use this solely to send the alerts you requested — confirmation is double opt-in, nothing is sent until you click the link, and every alert email contains a one-click unsubscribe. Unsubscribing deletes the subscription; unconfirmed requests are deleted after 7 days. We treat your watchlist as confidential: we never disclose who watches which companies, and we do not use your watchlist for any other purpose.

Rate limiting: we store a salted hash of your IP address — the address itself is never stored.

We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties beyond the service providers below. To have your data deleted, use any unsubscribe link or email mcummingbruce1@gmail.com.

Service providers and transfers

We use Vercel (hosting), Neon (database, hosted in the United States), Cloudflare (document storage, Western Europe), DigitalOcean (processing, London) and Twilio SendGrid (email delivery, United States) as processors. Where data leaves the UK, transfers rest on the providers’ standard data-protection agreements and UK-recognised safeguards.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
